2012年7月11日、国際統合報告委員会（IIRC: the International Integrated Reporting Council）は、統合報告（Integrated Reporting）に係る統合報告フレームワークのアウトラインのドラフトを公表しました。
IIRCは、2011年9月12日に発行したディスカッション・ペーパー"Towards Integrated Reporting: Communicating Value in the 21st Century"では、2012年に統合報告フレームワークの公開草案を公表予定でした。フレームワークの公開草案の公表は2013年前半または半ばに変更になりましたが、今回のアウトラインのドラフト公表により、統合報告フレームワークの基本的構造が初めて示されました。
