2013年1月31日のIASB教育セッションにて、国際統合報告評議会(IIRC)の推進している統合報告に関する教育セッションがありました。 現在、IASBとIIRCとの間でMemorandum of Understanding（MoU）を結ぶという話が進行しており、それに先駆けてメンバーの基本的知識を整理するものです。
今回の教育セッションでは、IIRCから人を招くことなく、シニアテクニカルディレクターのTeixeira氏が説明を行いました。時折、Hoogervorst議長の補足も交えながら、IIRCの歴史、組織、活動内容、概念の説明、IFRSとの関係、次のステップについて説明が行われました。統合報告とIFRSとの接点はマネジメントコメンタリーであり、MoUを基礎に検討が進められるものとされています。　フレームワークのドラフトは4月16日に公表予定です。
