IFRS財団評議員会は、IFRS諮問会議の新しいメンバーに、熊谷五郎氏（日本証券アナリスト協会）を含む14名の新しいメンバーを指名したことを2013年11月25日に発表しました。
IFRS諮問会議は、投資家、財務アナリスト、その他の財務諸表利用者、学識経験者、規制当局、会計事務所、基準設定主体など、さまざまなグループの代表で構成される組織で、IASBおよびIFRS財団評議員会に戦略的な助言を与える役割を担っており、IFRS財団との会議が年3回開催されます。　新メンバーの任期は2014年1月1日からで、熊谷五郎氏は金子誠一氏の退任に伴い指名されております。 PwCのJohn Hitchins は再任されています。
