ASBJとFASBは、2014年10月14日および15日、代表者による定期会合を東京で開催しました。本会合は年に2回定期的に行っているもので、今回で17回目となります。
今回の会合において、ASBJ とFASB は、お互いの活動の最新状況を確認するとともに、両設定主体が関心を有しているテクニカルな項目である「概念フレームワーク」、「開示フレームワーク」、「企業結合」及び「リース」等について議論を行いました。
ASBJ とFASB は、引き続き、グローバルな資本市場の健全性に貢献する会計基準の発展に向けて、意見交換していく予定です。なお、次回の会合は2015 年上期にノーウォークで開催する予定です。
