IFRS財団は、2014年10月30日、佐藤隆文氏を同財団の評議員に指名することを公表しました。佐藤氏は、現在、日本取引所自主規制法人の理事長を務めており、2007年から2009年までは金融庁長官として、国内企業に対するIFRS任意適用の容認など、日本におけるIFRS適用に尽力しました。副議長である藤沼亜起氏の退任に伴い、11月1日付で就任し、任期は2017年12月31日までとなります。
