IFRS財団は、2016年7月25日、世界85の主要証券取引所に上場する国内企業約48,000社のうち、25,000社超がIFRSを使用していること、また、IFRSを使用しない企業の80%超は中国、インド、日本および米国に上場していることを示す新しい分析結果を公表しました。
85の主要取引所に上場する外国登録企業約2,500社のうち1,000社超がIFRSを使用していることがこれまでの分析結果で確認されています。
この分析結果は、IFRS財団が報告しているjurisdiction profileにおけるIFRSの使用に関するデータ、および各国の証券取引所で構成される2つの組織（国際取引所連合： World Federation of Exchangesと欧州アジア証券取引所連合：Federation of European and Asian Stock Exchanges）が報告している国内上場企業数および外国上場企業数のデータを組合せて反映したものです。
