ASBJより、2016年10月14日付で第16回日中韓三カ国会計基準設定主体会議開催に関するプレスリリースが公表されました。本会議には、ASBJの小野行雄委員長、中国財政部会計司及び中国会計準則委員会（CASC）のDi Kai中国会計准則委員会副主任、韓国会計基準委員会（KASB）の Jee In Jang 委員長を含む三カ国からの代表者が出席しました。また、国際会計基準審議会（IASB）から鶯地隆継理事、香港公認会計士協会のShelley So委員長、マカオ監査人会計士登録委員会のYung Chi Chung委員が出席しました。

本会議においては、各会計基準設定主体の法域における会計基準の最近の開発状況について紹介されたほか、リース会計、金融商品会計、のれんの会計について詳細な議論が行われました。
