IASBの監督団体であるIFRS財団の評議員会は、2016年11月30日、IFRS財団の定款の一部を修正しました。本定款では、評議員会がIFRS財団の体制を5年ごとにレビューすることを求めています。直近のレビューは2015年7月に開始され、2回のコンサルテーションプロセスが実施されました。本修正は、直近のパブリック・コンサルテーションの結果を受けた10項目の修正案に対する評議員会の全会一致による結論を反映したものです。 主な内容は以下のとおりです。
  • IASBメンバーの数を削減（16名から14名に）
  • IASBおよび評議員会メンバーの地理的分布の修正
  • IASBおよび評議員会メンバーの職業的経歴に関する要件の修正
