2015年11月19日、IASBは公開草案「投資不動産の振替（IAS第40号の修正）」をコメント募集のために公表しました。
現行のガイダンスでは、棚卸資産に分類されていた建設中の不動産について、明らかな用途変更がある場合に、投資不動産に振り替えるべきか明確ではありませんでした。本公開草案は、このような状況における取扱いを明確にするためのものです。
コメント募集期間は2016年3月18日までとなっています。
