FASBとIASBは、2014年6月3日、収益認識に関する合同の移行リソースグループの創設を発表しました。
このグループはIASBとFASBに対し、企業や機関およびその他の団体が収益認識基準を適用する際に発生する可能性のある実務上の多様性または解釈上の問題を伝達する役割を担う予定です。また、問題を解決するために何らかの活動が必要となれば、それを両審議会が判断する際の手助けとなるような情報を提供する予定です。また、このグループ自身ではガイダンスを公表しない予定です。
2014年中に2回、2015年中には4回の公開会議の開催が見込まれており、第1回は2014年7月18日に予定されています。
