SEC issues letter on sample XBRL disclosure comments

This week the SEC issued an illustrative letter that contains sample comments about XBRL tagging that may be issued to certain companies. Topics include use of inline XBRL, including in connection with recently adopted disclosure requirements; use of custom tags; and using different XBRL elements to tag the same reported line items.
